You will find them all to be very warm, caring and knowledgeable. They participate in continuing education courses annually to stay current on the latest techniques and procedures. These courses will enhance your orthodontic experience in our office.

Desiree
Treatment Coordinator, AOA Certified
Desiree is our wonderful Treatment Coordinator. She is a native San Diegan and is proud to call such a fantastic and beautiful city home. At Sonoma State University she earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations. When Desiree isn't cooking for a crowd, surfing, painting, or exercising, you can find her curled up on the couch with a good book or spending her Sundays at a Chargers game. “It is a great privilege to work with this team to create beautiful smiles for our wonderful patients. I can't think of anything better then seeing the patients smile!”

Business Manager
Annika is our Business Manager. She moved to SD from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she lived for 17 years. Annika was born and raised in Sweden and speaks fluent Swedish and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her three children (Eva, Emma and Erik) and their two dogs (Ina and Rosco). Annika loves camping, the beach and spending time with her family. “I love orthodontics because you get to be a part of an exciting time in the patient’s life. When they get a beautiful smile, you can see their self confidence grow.”

Abby
Scheduling Coordinator
Abby was born and raised under the hot Arizona sun. She recently moved to San Diego and is loving every minute of it! When Abby isn't working, she enjoys spending time with friends, going to movies and taking weekend get-a-ways to visit her family and two dogs (Roco & Gino) in Arizona. She hopes to learn to surf while in San Diego. Abby has been in the orthodontic field since 2002 and "absolutely loves working for Dr. Greenspan! The best part about working in orthodontics is braces off day. Seeing the confidence a beautiful smile brings to someone is an amazing experience".

Christina was raised right here in sunny San Diego. She has been in the dental field since 1997 and is a fantastic RDA. She loves traveling to exotic places and whipping up regional treats. Christina loves to running at the beach and spending time with her husband, Armand and her puppy Pollo Poco. “One of the main reasons that I really LOVE working in orthodontics I they fantastic friendships I get to make with our patients. It makes it even more exciting to see their great smiles after treatment.”

Lisa was born and raised in Southern California. She attended Chaffey College for her Dental Assisting Certificate and interned at Loma Linda University and the Veteran's Hospital. She has been an RDA in the orthodontic field for nine years. In her free time she likes to go camping with her husband Kevin and their two sons Trevor, age 3, and Travis, age 2. Lisa's boys are her world and keep her very busy. "l love orthodontics because I enjoy the process of helping to make beautiful smiles for our wonderful patients."

Cassandra recently moved back to beautiful Southern California from Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City with a degree in Liberal Arts. She loves spending time with her husband, Tim and her two quirky dogs Joey and Caeser. She also enjoys trying new foods, hiking, spending time at the beach, and watching movies. "I'm very excited for the great opportunity to work with Dr. Greenspan and his team!"

Amanda

Amanda was born and raised right here in San Diego. She loves spending time with her husband and their little cat, Harry. She also enjoys traveling, running and reading. Amanda is currently wearing braces and understands from the patient's perspective and has a compassionate understanding for the orthodontic experience. She was introduced to the field of orthodontics by her older sister Tina, who also works with Dr. Greenspan. Amanda says "I'm very excited to work with Dr. Greenspan and his great team. Seeing people get their new amazing smiles is very satisfying!"

In Fall of 2009 Nam began dental school at USC. She cannot wait to become a dentist. Patients and staff will all miss her!
Nam was born and raised in San Diego. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High in 03’ and is a Graduate of UCSD. While work keeps her busy, she loves to hang out with friends and family, go to the beach, and shop. She’s also working on her snowboarding skills as often as time permits. Nam has been a part of this office for four years now, and “loves the opportunity to be a part of the patient’s lives as they grow, and as their confidence grows with their bright new smiles.”

Rachel

To fulfill her dream to become a dental hygenist Rachel began Hygiene school at Southwestern in fall of 2009. We all wish her the very best!
Rachel Hawkins was raised in the beautiful Northwest in Salem, Oregon. She attended the University of Dental Technology in Utah. Rachel moved to San Diego from Utah in 2006 with her husband who is working on a PhD at The Scripps Research Institute. Currently Rachel is working towards her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. In her free time she enjoys cooking up yummy treats and decorating her home. Rachel loves to shop, long board, snowboard, and hopes to learn to surf while living in San Diego. “Orthodontics has always been a big part of my life. What I like the most is seeing our patients enjoy their new, perfect smiles.”

Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics
Several staff members attended the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics (PCSO) Conference in Monterey, California. It was a great learning experience for all of us!
Halloween
On Halloween our office staff brought the magic of The Wizard of Oz to our patients. The creativity and personality of our staff was able to shine! On the afternoon of Halloween patients and neighborhood kids came to the office trick or treating. It is so much fun to see our patients in their Halloween finery!
